The Local Government Unit of Dauis is tasked to safeguard town’s resources; harness its development potential; access the basic economic, spiritual, environmental and social services with strong partnership with national government agencies and non- governmental organizations for a self-reliant community.

To preserved municipality’s tourist resources and potentials center on its beaches, diving spots and cultural/ religious activities.  Consequently, the municipality is aiming to improve the productivity to support tourist industry, social and economic services and environmental protection by effectively implementing all development plans and programs.
