A tourist attraction in the town which is of international fame is Hinagdanan Cave in Bingag. So named as long ago no one could again access into it unless he has a “hagdan” (ladder), this primeval wonder and beauty was not spared by the onslaught of modernization. One now can walk into the cave leisurely via cemented stairs and pathway, Facilitated by electric lights. Nevertheless, the grandeur of the cathedral-like stone formations inside, the gorgeous stalactites that rise to varying heights and sizes and the cool, cool spring have never failed to evoke awe among nature-lovers.
