The church was built by the Spaniards is constructed of solid rocks or stones and it has paintings on the walls that are quite attractive.

There is a tower with a bell, outside the church there is another tower and there is also a small well, not deep in front of the altar inside the church where the parishioners will draw their water. They consider the water to be holy because it is claimed that it can cure illnesses. It was surprisingly discovered that though the area is surrounded by the ocean, but the water from the well is not very salty and is considered potable.
